I have been thinking a lot about "...Great post. I have been thinking a lot about "policy versus doctrine" over the last week or so as well and have come to similar conclusions. For me the key is, "thy will not mine be done". It doesn't mean I am blindly following. In fact, I feel I am following with my eyes wide open after having to make a conscious choice to adhere to a policy that I may not 100% agree with. Like you, I have felt over and over again promptings that this is "where I need to be", which can sometimes be hard to accept.
